How We Met: Mahdi's Version

I was on a solo trip around Asia, loving my alone time. My main intention was to train, to become a better version of myself, and focus on self-growth. During that period, I had one year of abstinence from relationships and dating.

Until one day, I was alone, going home, and suddenly I got hitchhiked by strangers. I stopped, and I saw this girl. She was beautiful - though it was dark and I didn’t really see her fully; she was behind my back. We finished the night in a reggae bar, where I saw her beautiful eyes. Eventually, I dropped her off, and we ended the night.

Then, we started to meet slowly. As days went on, we were sharing so much, so many simple things and realizing that we both shared a common vision. We started to have some romance and went to Koh Tao. That’s where we had our poetic time, doing touristy, adventurous, fun things, and we got really connected.

As it was unplanned, each of us eventually had to make our way home. But we still managed to meet again, as Mariah was brave and made it to Tunisia. We started to get closer and closer in our own environment together, until we reached where we are now - married.

And I knew this is the girl of my life.
